When a patient consults with us, we always aim for a gold standard of care, whichever country you consult with us in you can rest assured that our service will be of the same quality we are renowned for. Have a look at a typical patient pathway with us. Of course, every patient is different and one of our core skills is to work around the clinical needs of our esteemed patronage, as well as their social professional and travel requirements.
Your consultation. This is an essential part of your journey and no patients with us will have treatment without consultation- this is a core safety requirement. For the smallest procedures, you may request treatment on the day, subject to good practice. For anything larger, we mandate a period of reflection where you will need to think about what we discussed and where you have the possibility to ask further questions. For more demanding procedures, you will be invited to attend face to face in order to finalise the discussion, and consent.
Consultation and pre-treatment stage. Laser procedures include a vast suite of very bespoke interventional treatments. For this reason, our patients will be quoted a tariff once we appraise what you request, in a consultation. We will consider whether it is beneficial for you and whether it is likely to reach your expectations. We will only accept to treat you if in our opinion the service we offer is likely to be in your interest, if we are confident that we can match your expectations, and if there is a good professional rapport between doctor and patient. Please do not be offended if we decline to treat you, if we feel your interest is best served in that way.
Treatment. On the day of your procedure, do not wear any make up lipstick or eyeliner. Most of our laser procedures are done in an outpatient setting, and indeed most of our LARAm techniques have one giant advantage: you can go straight back home and return to daily activities straight away. For surgical procedures, these are always done in a licensed operating theater and where general anaesthetic is involved, you may need to be seen by a consultant anaesthetist before hand, but we will always discuss things beforhand with you and we will tailor to your specific needs.
Post procedure care. We truly believe that this is a crucial part of your treatment. For this reason we guarantee that your post treatment follow up will be consultant led. We will also be quite strict in ensuring your attendance. Whilst we do the heavy lifting, it is also important in the days immediately following your procedures that you follow our advice so that you have the best chance of healing and doing so as early as possible. We will also be able to monitor your progress and detect any complications quickly should they arise.
