Contouring

Blepharoplasty (nip and tuck of of eyelids) and bag correction is a very popular procedure. In many occasions the lower eyelid region can be managed with LARA-m laser our signature procedure, resulting in a scarless gradual improvement whcih is both long lived and discreet.

The procedure is office based, done under local anaesthetic with minimum downtime. Options available include laser, ablative laser, endoscopic laser and open surgery

Jaw lift or mandibuloplasty allows us to separate the appearance of the neck from the face. "here it is all about definition" says Professor Azzopardi. Whilst laser procedures take some time to mature, they are often preferred here, as they are safer, natural and very long lasting.

Options available include Endoscopic laser and open surgery. Endoscopic laser under local anaesthetic is often the preferred option, due to safety and longevity

Double chin may result because of excess skin, fat or both. Although both surgery and laser are available for this area, LARAm Laser technique, introduced by Professor Azzopardi is a standard workhorse. Surgery is often the procedure of choice when the neck muscle or "Platysma" is the issue.

For nearly all other causes, laser surgery works very well, albeit more gradually, in tightening the skin at the same time as reducing the volume of fat, resulting in a natural, tight, firm and refreshed appearance.

Abdominoplasty is one of the more major procedures in the portfolio of a plastic surgeon. Traditional surgical abdominoplasty is needed when there is a laxity of the muscle wall, co-existing hernias or other underlying issues which need to be fixed.

Laser techniques on the other hand, offer an equally powerful method of dealing with excess skin and fat excess in a gentler fashion which often means you can go back to work the next day. It is important to speak to your surgeon about which one offer the best option, and benefits in your personal and bespoke circumstances.
